Welcome to Seville, the “orange city” where the streets are lined with fragrant orange trees and every corner invites you to explore on foot! Nestled in sunny Andalusia, the southernmost part of Spain, Seville is a delightful mix of history, culture, and fun. It’s the perfect place to wander, get lost, and discover hidden gems. Prepare for an ideal 3-day adventure in one of Europe’s most walkable cities!

Where to stay in Seville?
No need to stress about where to stay in Seville since the city is super walkable. We picked a hostel near Las Setas, which was great for popping back in during the day to recharge. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with these two neighbourhoods: Barrio Santa Cruz, where all the main attractions are, or El Arenal, if you prefer a quieter vibe but still want to stay close to the action.
What to eat in Seville?
Tapas, tapas, tapas. And more! Be it Tapas, Paella or Sangria, everything we tried was delicious and budget-friendly. Don’t miss Bar El Comercio. Known for their churros and hot chocolate, they also serve great traditional tapas, and toasts.

3 Days in Seville Itinerary
This itinerary is all about exploring Seville on foot! Forget about public transportation – you won’t need it. The city is so walkable and the attractions are so close together that you can mix up the order and still see everything. Discover Seville’s charm at your own pace!
Day 1 in Seville
- Morning: Bullring tour (€7) and Case de Pilatos (Main floor: €12)
- Afternoon: Walk around the Triana District
- Evening: Flamenco show (€22)
Kick off your day with a bullring tour! You’ll dive into bullfighting’s rich history and then step into the ring itself. Next, head over to Casa de Pilatos for a taste of Seville’s stunning architecture – you can skip the €6 fee for the top floors if you want.
Cross the Guadalquivir River to the lively Triana district, full of food stalls and cosy eateries. Try one of their many tapas bars and restaurants.
The highlight of our first day? Definitely the Flamenco show! We were blown away by the authentic music and dance in a theatre setup.

Day 2 in Seville
- Morning: Royal Alcazar (€15.50)
- Afternoon: Church of El Salvador, Seville Cathedral, and La Giralda Tower (€18)
- Evening: Explore Barrio Santa Cruz
Real Alcazar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is hands down the most iconic monument in Seville. Despite being absolutely packed, it’s worth braving the crowds and lines. Once you’re in, take your time exploring the breathtaking halls and mesmerizing gardens. You can even enjoy a coffee break in the garden with peacocks striding around the patio.
Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, is another must-see. Originally a mosque, it adds to Seville’s stunning beauty. Your ticket also includes entry to La Giralda Tower and the Church of El Salvador.

Day 3 in Seville
- Morning: Plaza de Espana and Maria Luisa Park
- Evening: Shopping in Calle Sierpes & Las Setas (€16)
Maria Luisa Park is packed with museums, monuments, gardens, and plazas, including the stunning Plaza de España. This grand semi-circular plaza dazzles with coral bricks and gorgeous blue and yellow tiles. An emerald green canal circles the plaza, perfect for a boat tour in summer. Visit early to beat the crowds and the afternoon heat.
Calle Sierpes is the commercial heart of Seville. Lined with chain stores, family-run shops, the occasional independent boutique, and frozen drinks outlets, it’s the busiest between 6pm and 9pm.
Make sure you catch Las Setas at sunset or right after dark. The Metropol Parasol, known as Las Setas, boasts unique modern architecture and offers stunning city views. The light show is super magical at night.

Here’s some useful information
- Grab an Airalo e-sim for quick local internet.
- Learning some Spanish helps, as some restaurants lack English menus.
- Arrive early at the Royal Alcazar to avoid crowds.
- Flamenco show seating is first-come, first-serve. Arrive 15-20 minutes early for the best seats.
- Don’t be tempted by the abundant orange trees; they’re not edible.
To wrap up, I urge you to explore Seville and immerse yourself in its rustic beauty. Just be sure to watch out for the summer heat – it can get pretty intense! Enjoy your adventure in this enchanting city!
