What is your driving passion?

“When you catch a glimpse of your potential, that’s when passion is born”, quoted Zig Ziglar. Stand-out examples are Albert Einstein, Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, Sachin Tendulkar, and the names keep coming. They’re legends who’ve made passion their profession. It is not surprising everyone has some, me not being an exception. Here, I gleefully share four things I am; things that interest me most and complete my quadrilateral- PASSION.

CRICKET – Cricket is what I play and it is what I dream of, every night. A state player, representing a 3rd division team in the state league currently, I’m involved in this game for more than 11 years now and hopefully, will continue forever.

BOOKS / BLOG – I read almost everything I get to, not sparing even the labels on Shampoo or Phenyl bottles and Toilet cleaners when I’m in my bathroom. I express my views through Facebook status updates or my personal blog, writing stories and taking on serious social issues too. There’s no doubt I will come up with my own autobiography someday.

ENVIRONMENT DESIGN – Step into my room and you’re welcomed with an innumerable collection of inspiring quotes, vibrant pictures and eco-friendly tips inscribed in every corner. ‘Reuse everything you can, and cut down on costs’, is my motto. I love managing my space and money. And hey, ask me I’ll give you an idea or two too.

EXPLORE – Something that irks me the maximum is the age-old myths, blind traditions and baseless practices obtruded on me by my highly orthodox mother. Hence it is natural for me to do research on these figments to prove her wrong. There are exceptions and there are times when she is right. In that case, I go on to find the real reasons behind the practice and share the same.

Teaching is something I love. I dream of setting up a school to train wards on all facets including personality development, social concerning, sports and ethics apart from academics. There are many things in life that catch your eyes, but very few catch your heart, pursue those. I am pursuing, are you?
